Thank You Accelergen Energy!
Accelergen helps extend game time for Roswell’s youth baseball players ROSWELL, N.M., October 16, 2025 – Coyote Willow Energy Park, a subsidiary of Accelergen Energy, has contributed $5,000 to help the Noon Optimist Little League install solar lighting over its youth baseball batting cages, allowing players to keep practicing after dark. The league serves hundreds of kids and their families in the Roswell community, providing a year-round outlet for local kids. “We are happy to support the Noon Optimist Little League and look forward to growing the facility resources for this impressive group of young baseball players,” said Accelergen’s Senior Development Manager, Matt Ryan. Accelergen recognized that investing in Noon Optimist Little League’s facilities is a worthwhile way to support the community. “We pride ourselves on providing safe, reliable practice spaces for hundreds of our youth athletes and see this donation as a step toward expanding the facilities that we have to offer,” said Noon Optimist Little League Board Member, Kristen Soukup. “We’re grateful to Accelergen for helping make this project possible. Their support allows us to keep improving the spaces where our kids grow and play.” Accelergen is currently planning the Coyote Willow Energy Park, a 250-megawatt photovoltaic solar facility paired with a 125-magawatt battery energy storage system (BESS) proposed in unincorporated areas of Chaves County, outside of the city of Roswell. The company is partnering with local organizations to find meaningful ways the project can continue benefiting the county well into the future, in addition to providing affordable energy, jobs, and millions of dollars in tax revenue. The Coyote Willow Energy Park would deliver significant investment in Chaves County and provide long-term benefits, including new local jobs, $18 million in tax revenue to support schools and essential services, and increased control over future energy costs.
